Welcome to Discipleship University, where you never stop learning.

Why Discipleship University? To Provide Quality Teaching about Key Discipleship Topics
Discipleship University’s core purpose is to provide believers with quality teaching about what it means to live as a disciple of Christ. DU covers both belief and lifestyle topics that befit a true follower of Christ.

What is a Disciple?
A disciple is devoted to the Person of Jesus Christ and follows His teachings.
He seeks to live by His Word, take up his cross, love his fellow believers, shine as a witness, make other disciples, be like Christ.

Luke 6:40b says, “everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher.” A disciple learns all he can to be like Christ.

How does it work?
Seminars/Classes will be offered periodically throughout the year and will vary in length. They will cover various subjects, dealing with both beliefs and lifestyle practices of a Christian disciple. Their length will range from a weekend or day to 10 weeks.

How do we sign up?
You can sign up online, registering on the sites or leave a message for Pastor Jeff. You can sign up individually or come with your community group. These classes are designed to be short enough that community groups can attend them while not losing too much time from their regular group activities.

This sounds pretty cool. Can I help?
Yes, just talk to Pastor Jeff about what help is needed. (360) 696-2511.

Emerson & Sarah Eggerichs
Video Series

Dates: Tuesdays, Feb 14-Mar 27

The "Love and Respect" Series is a video series by Emerson and Sarah Eggerichs. This series will have a video presentaiton as well as group discussion.

We believe love best motivates a woman and respect most powerfully motivates a man. Research reveals that during marital conflict a husband most often reacts when feeling disrespected and a wife reacts when feeling unloved.  We asked 7,000 people this question: when you are in a conflict with your spouse or significant other, do you feel unloved or disrespected?  83% of the men said "disrespected."  72% of the women said, "unloved."  Though we all need love and respect equally, the felt need differs during conflict, and this difference is as different as pink is from blue!

The month of March, Pastors Roger, Danny and Jeff are preaching a series, "Living Beyond Myself." It's about taking the gamble of that happiness comes from living your life for others rather than yourself. It's about being the priesthood of all believers.

The whole series is part of our Spiritual Gifts course, but there is one extra class on March 17, from 2-4 pm, that will cover the foundational doctrines of spiritual gifts, as well as a spiritual gifts test. Our presenter will be Craig Frantz, our head elder, and Pastor Jeff.

March 10. "The Great Gamble" by Pastor Roger Walter. 9, 11 am.

March 17. "What, Me a Priest" by Pastor Jeff Richards. 9, 11 am.
